Crew under command of Captain II rank Anatoly Velichko completely finished the programme of state trials and the flag of the Russian Navy was raised on May 11.

This was stated by Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov while summing up results of session of SCO Defence Ministers held in Astana.

The leadership discussed issues of developing infrastructure of military units and formations of the Western and Southern military districts, trials of Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov frigate, preparing Admiral Kuznetsov heavy aircraft carrier cruiser for task performance.

The main goal of the training activities – practice of joint actions of the Russian and Chinese operational groups aimed at protection of territories from sudden and provocative missile strikes.

Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu noted that the armed forces of Russia and Pakistan had build-up contacts in many fields.

Anatoly Antonov and Rao Inderjit Singh discussed the issues of military and technical cooperation of Russia and India as well as their future development.
