Communication specialists of the Russian Armed Forces to demonstrate unique developments at the “ARMY–2016”

Main communication Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces is to demonstrate newest developments in the communication field at the II International military and technical forum “ARMY–2016”.

The specialists are to organize exposition of equipment, which is to provide an opportunity for an operator to use three-dimensional environment interactively (tactually) due to so-called augmented reality technology.

For instance, small-sized retranslation platform based on unmanned aerial vehicles, which is to raise signal transmission by 120 kilometers, will be demonstrated during the Forum.

Communication safety control will be demonstrated with usage of newest complex in course of practical fixation of negotiations on “key-words” in conditions of complex electronic warfare conditions.

The exposition is to become an improvised control centre. The centre will be monitoring condition of pieces of armament, military and special hardware, which is to be demonstrated as by the Directorate as by cooperative industrial companies.

Moreover, hardware samples designed by scientific and educational establishments as Military Signal Academy named after Soviet Union Marshal Semyon Budyonny and 16th Central Scientific and Research Institute for Communication named after Marshal of communication troops Andrei Belov.

Organizations and industrial companies have a unique possibility to demonstrate their developments to experts of the Russian Defence Ministry and foreign partners. They will also have an opportunity to take part in roundtables conferences on actual issues of communication and IT system development.
