Deputy Defence Minister of Russia Anatoly Antonov held negotiations with the Indian Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh

Today within the V Moscow Conference on International Security, Deputy Defence Minister of Russia Anatoly Antonov held negotiations with the Indian Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh.

The parties stressed the strategic character of the privileged Russian-Indian partnership, one of the main components of which is the bilateral interaction in the military field.

In the course of the meeting, Anatoly Antonov and Rao Inderjit Singh discussed the issues of military and technical cooperation of Russia and India as well as their future development.

In particular, the joint military exercises have been highly appreciated. There was reached an agreement to continue such kind of activities in the future.

Anatoly Antonov and Rao Inderjit Singh expressed satisfaction with the relations established between the General Staffs and Armed Services, as well as with the established military exchange.
