Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov met his Chilean colleague Marcos Robledo Hoecker

Today Russian Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov met his Chilean colleague Marcos Robledo Hoecker who had taken part in the V Moscow Conference on International Security.

Anatoly Antonov expressed his satisfaction with the intensively developing cooperation in the military sphere. He particularly noted the effectiveness of contacts within the working group for cooperation in the field of defence. He reaffirmed the readiness of the Russian party for activization of Russian-Chilean contacts through military departments focusing on the necessity of the bilateral legal framework.

In his turn, Marcos Robledo Hoecker confirmed the interest of the Chilean party to develop contacts in the military sphere.

In the course of the meeting, Anatoly Antonov mentioned the main directions of the Russian-Chilean cooperation: participation of the Chilean delegations as observers at the International Army Games (July-August 2016), participation of Chilean partners in the Military and techinical forum Army-2016.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
