The ceremony of accepting the first diesel-electric submarine "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky" under project 636.3 by the Russian Navy took place today at the Admiralty Shipyards plant in St. Petersburg. According to the order of Admiral Nikolay EVMENOV, the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, the submarine was accepted by the Russian Navy, and it will become a part of the formation of the Pacific Fleet submarines. The Andreevsky flag was solemnly raised on the submarine.

The communications specialists of the Central Military District (CMD) have received their first set of the P-230T armored complex hardware communications system. The transfer of this piece of weaponry by the manufacturer took place today at the base of a separate communications formation of the CMD located in the Sverdlovsk Region. P-230T is designed to provide the command post of the district forces commander with all modern communication services and means. Moreover, the main technical features of this complex are its mobility and security.
