According to the Commander of the district troops Colonel General Sergei Surovikin, more than 700 pieces of armament and military hardware, including 60 air-craft and helicopters, are expected to be delivered till the end of the year.

The leadership discussed issues of developing infrastructure of military units and formations of the Western and Southern military districts, trials of Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov frigate, preparing Admiral Kuznetsov heavy aircraft carrier cruiser for task performance.
