At the end of August this year, a large-scale International military-Technical Forum Army-2021 will be held in the remote garrisons of the Eastern Military District (EMD) in the Transbaikal territory with the participation of military formations and military units of EMD. In 2021, the general concept of the Army-2021 forum is to introduce artificial intelligence systems.

During the upcoming ARMY 2021 military-technical forum at the Vostochny airfield in Ulan-Ude, the newest armored vehicle Typhoon is planned for demonstration for the first time at the site of weapons and military equipment, which this year entered service with the combined arms formation of the Eastern Military districts. Visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the technical characteristics of the newest armored vehicle, the possibilities for overcoming difficult road sections and its purpose.

In the formations and military units of the Eastern Military District, active preparations have begun for ARMY-2021 military-technical forum. This year, the main motto of the Army-2021 forum will be Artificial Intelligence-the main technology of the 21st century. The forum is planned to be held in 30 settlements, on the territory of 10 constituent entities of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Buryatia to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, at more than 40 thematic sites.
