Demonstration flights within the framework of the international military-technical forum "ARMY-2020" have been completed at Kubinka airfield

During the dynamic display at Kubinka airfield within the framework of the international military-technical forum "ARMY-2020", held from 23 to 29 August 2020, more than 70 full-scale samples of aviation equipment by types of aviation were presented on an open platform; demonstration flights, a flight program for the general public, scientific, business and educational programs, events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war.

Front-line Su-34 bombers, Ka-52 and Mi-35M attack helicopters, Mi-8AMTSh transport and combat helicopters, and the "Berkut" Mi-28N aerobatic team participated in the dynamic display of modern combat aviation.

The general program of the show included the aviation aerobatics groups of the Aerospace Forces "Russian knights", "Swifts", "Golden Eagles". Also, the program was demonstrated by the "First Flight" aerobatic team on Yak-52 aircraft and the absolute world champion in aeroplane sports, honored master of sports of Russia Svetlana Kapanina on the "EXTRA" aircraft.

At the "ARMY 2020" forum, the Russian Aerospace Forces "Swifts" aerobatics group presented for the first time a flight program with nine MiG-29 fighters (previously, the group demonstrated aerobatics with six fighters).

The "Russian Knights" aerobatic team presented an updated flight program. The pilots demonstrated aerobatics on both the newly received Su-35S and Su-30SM, which emphasizes the professionalism of pilots performing aerobatics in the same formation on different types of fighters.

"Swifts" and "Russian Knights" perform on combat, and not specially prepared for air show fighters. They also use these vehicles to work out combat training tasks, including real-life defeat of air and ground targets at military training grounds.

To participate in the dynamic display, 23 units of aviation equipment were involved, and during the entire time of the forum, pilots flew 5 shifts and about 70 hours.
