Near Samara, guests of the "Army-2020" forum were shown the latest AK-12 assault rifle

At the Roshchinsky training ground of the Samara region, guests of the "Army-2020" military technical forum were able to see the newest Kalashnikov AK-12, which entered service this year with the special forces of the Central Military District.

Special Forces soldiers showed visitors the main differences and told about the advantages over previous versions of small arms-AK-74M. The main advantage of the AK-12 is improved accuracy of fire, the ability to change the side of the ejection of cartridges, as well as increased ergonomics – a convenient fuse and several modes of fire – automatic, single and cut-off two shots.

The final day of the forum will be held on August 29 at 11 o'clock. In this day of planned cultural and sporting events, the dynamic display of the firing capabilities of weapons and military equipment, the drawing of battle units with illegal armed groups in the conditional village, demonstrations of techniques of hand-to-hand combat by special forces of the Central Military District, combat shootings from all types of the regular small arms. The solemn closing ceremony of the forum will begin at 15 o'clock.
