INDEPENDENT DEVELOPMENTS SELECTED IN THE INTERESTS OF PERSPECTIVE PIECES OF WEAPONRY WERE DISCUSSED AT THE PATRIOT EXPOCENTRE

The meeting was held by Major General Andrey M. GONCHAROV, the Head of the Chief Directorate of Scientific Studies and Engineering Support of Advanced Technologies (Innovative Research) of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, at the Patriot ExpoCentre.

"Nowadays, the Commission has become an effective tool in selection for further implementation of the initiative developments proposed by enterprises and industry organizations", he noted.

Moreover, as the Head of the Chief Directorate noted, an increase in the number of initiative developments selected for implementation in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation proves the effectiveness of the Commission operation. Over the past three years, their total number has increased by almost 10 times and amounted to more than 180 developments.

At the meeting, more than 15 projects carried out by industrial enterprises on an initiative basis and in the promising areas in the interests of the state defence sector have been discussed.
