HEAD OF THE MILITARY DEPARTMENT CHECKED THE STATUS OF THE STATE DEFENCE ORDER EXECUTED BY THE ENTERPRISES OF THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IN THE PERM TERRITORY

During his business trip to the Perm Territory, Sergei SHOIGU, the Minister of Defenсe of the Russian Federation, the General of the Army, has checked implementation of state defence order contracts by enterprises of the military industrial complex (MIC) located in this region.

In particular, Sergei SHOIGU has visited Mashinostroitel Perm Plant JSC, where the Head of the Military Department was informed about increasing technological production capabilities and promising projects on development of the latest high-precision weapons.

The Minister of Defenсe has inspected the production workshops intended for manufacture of solid-fuel rocket engines from metal and composite materials to be used in land-based or sea-based aircraft of any type.

Sergei SHOIGU has also inspected the production and inventory facilities of the Ural Scientific Research Institute of Composite Materials. The enterprise specializes in the manufacture of the airframes for various aircraft and the components for advanced aircraft engines.

Nikolay PANKOV, Timur IVANOV and Aleksey KRIVORUCHKO, the Deputy Ministers of Defence, as well as Admiral Nikolay EVMENOV, the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, took part in the business trip of the Head of the Military Department.
