Patriot Park hosts briefing for foreign military attaches on ARMY 2018 Forum

Today, the Patriot Park has hosted briefing for foreign military attachés on ARMY 2018 International Military and Technical Forum.
The main objectives and tasks of the forum are the development of military and technical cooperation with foreign countries, implementation of innovations, creation of favorable conditions for producers and exporters of military, special equipment and technologies in the field of national and global security, promotion of military and dual-use at domestic and foreign markets.
The forum will last for six days.
It is made up of six blocks: static programme; dynamic programme; scientific program; military-patriotic and cultural activities; social events.
The main features of the upcoming forum include:
National Security Week international forum;
involvement of various agencies of foreign states;
the expansion of the aviation cluster at the Kubinka airfield;
an extended IT-technologies exposition , information systems and signal complexes;
Innovatative Club exposition;
At present, it is planned that over 1,000 enterprises are to participate in the Forum to showcaseover 24,000 exhibits.
In the dynamic display there will be a demonstration of cruise and firing capabilities of weapons. Besides, there will be performance of aircraft aerobatic teams and units of the Airborne Troops.
In addition, it is planned that the aerobatic team (The August 1st) of the People's Liberation Army Air Force will also perform in demonstration programme.
In order to develop international military cooperation to organize invitation of delegations, enterprises and companies of foreign countries.
At present, eight foreign countries have confirmed their participation in ARMY Forum: Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Slovakia and Turkey.
