Russian Minister of Defence holds meeting of Organizing Committee for Army 2018 IMTF and Week of National Security
Today, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, the Russian Minister of Defence, chaired a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the Army 2018 International Military and Technical Forum and Week of National Security International Forum.
Some 80 representatives from 31 state bodies, 26 enterprises of military industrial complex and scientific organizations attended the meeting.
In course of the event, the attendees discussed main guidelines of preparations and specific features of the upcoming forums. Moreover, the meeting considered some motions made by the attendees on a static exhibition, demonstrations and business program.
The Army 2018, IV International Military and Technical Forum, and the Week of National Security International Forum will take place from August 21 to 26 at the Patriot Exhibition Centre, the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield.
In course of the Army 2018 IMTF, the military districts and Northern Fleet will organize demonstrations and exhibitions of armaments and military and special hardware.
