Supercomputer technologies application in the Defence Ministry Research and Development will be discussed at the “Army-2017” forum
23 August the participants of the 3rd IMTF “Army-2017” will discuss topical issues of supercomputer technologies application in research and development of the Military Educational and Scientific Center and Defense Ministry research institutions.
The ‘round table’ is organized by the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Defence Ministry. The discussion will be devoted to supercomputer technologies application in the Russian Defense Ministry Research and Development centers and institutions.
The topic focuses on the status and prospects of the supercomputer technologies development, application and practical use of the community access centers in the interests of the Defense Ministry Research and Development.
The ‘round-table’ participants will discuss the opportunities and prospects of technologies integration in designing and manufacturing of the future armament, military and special hardware, the use of an effective platform for comprehensive computerized simulation and high-performance calculations for development and applied research in the military-industrial complex and organization of their implementation.
The event will gather representatives of military control bodies, Russian leading supercomputer technologies manufacturers, the Russian Defense Ministry experts and civil organizations.
The 3rd International Military-Technical forum “Army-2017” is to take place on 22-27 at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center at the Alabino range and Kubinka airfield as well as in the military districts and in the Northern Fleet.
