Army 2017, International Military-Technical Forum, will present about 1.5 thousand exhibits
During the Army 2017, III International Military Technical Forum, specialists of the RF Defence Ministry’s Department for Provision of the State Defence Order will take part in signing state contracts on the state defence orders with enterprises of the Defence Industry Complex (DIC) for the supply of various types of armaments, military and special equipment (AMSE).
More than 300 DIC enterprises will traditionally take part in the forum, with about 1,500 AMSE exhibits.
"For the first time within the framework of the forum, the Land Force’s equipment will be demonstrated at the exhibition site of the ‘ROSARMEXPO’," said the Head of the Department Rear-Admiral A.P. Vernigora.
According to him, the newest means of detection, recognition and tracking of targets, automated control systems for controlling weapons and military subunits will undoubtedly be of greatest interest. It relates also to ‘Msta-S’ artillery systems, artillery reconnaissance means modernised to the modern level; unified inter-service ‘Armata’, ‘Kurganets-25’, ‘Boomerang’ modular universal combat platforms.
The anti-aircraft missile systems and the latest samples of complexes with unmanned aerial vehicles will not be left without attention, too.
Traditionally, high interest is expected in the prospective domestic small arms and modern Russian motor vehicles.
A lot of interesting proposals will be presented by manufacturers of sea and air armaments.
