Expanded meeting of the Scientific-and-Technical Council of the Main Trial Space Centre of the RF Defence Ministry named after G.S. Titov

On 1 June, the RF DM’s Main Trial Space Centre named after G.S. Titov of the Aerospace Force passed an expanded meeting of its Scientific-and-Technical Council. Leading scientists and specialists from the Main Centre, representatives of the Space Forces’ Command, specialists of the 4th CRI, 46th CRI of the RF Defence Ministry, and the Military Space Academy named after A.F. Mozhaysky, as well as other organisations were among the participants.
The meeting was devoted to the discussion of the state and areas of development of the Main Centre in creation and testing of promising space systems and complexes.
At the meeting discussed: the results of the support of more than 50 research and development works on the flight tests of advanced space systems and complexes and the modernization of ground-based automated control systems for space vehicles.
The Scientific-and-Technical Council approved the carried scientific-and-technical policy and assigned the tasks to the subordinate military units and subunits on organising and holding the XXI Interdepartmental Scientific-and-Practical Conference ‘Scientific and Practical Aspects of Improving Control over Spacecraft and Information Support for Launching Spacecraft’, timed to the 60th anniversary of the Main Centre and planned to be held on 26-27October 2017.
