From 3 to 4 June in Singapore, Russian Deputy Defence Minister Lieutenant General Alexander Fomin participated in the 16th International Conference on Security in Asia "Shangri-La Dialogue"
During the conference, the Russian position on actual issues of security in the Asia-Pacific region was presented and possible approaches to their solution were discussed.
On the sidelines of the event, the Deputy Defence Minister held bilateral meetings with representatives of the ministries of defense of foreign countries, during which he discussed the status and prospects of military cooperation.
International Conference on Security in Asia "Shangri-La Dialogue", organized by the London International Institute for Strategic Studies. Representatives of senior management, the defence ministers and leading experts of the Asia-Pacific region, as well as a number of European countries attend the forum. Held in Singapore annually since 2002.
