Signal units of the Russian military base in Abkhazia practice reestablishing communications damaged during simulated combat.
The communication was conditionally damaged by specialists of the military base. Moreover, several communication vehicles were conditionally damaged by the artillery of the simulated enemy.
The signal units of the Russian formation in Abkhazia detected and corrected faults in technical equipment, used the reserved stations and reestablished the communication with other units. It took them 17 minutes to complete the task.
Moreover, the servicemen established strong connection between staffs at the distance of 600 kilometers as well as met more than 20 different qualification standards.
About 200 servicemen were performing assigned tasks at the Gudauta range. More than 30 pieces of modern military and special hardware, including the Artek radio stations, L1 radio relay stations and the Liven satellite communication stations, were involved.
