Attendance at Army 2023 International Military-Technical Forum is breaking records of previous years

Today, August 19, in the press-center of the Army 2023 IMTF a daily briefing for journalists was held by Major General Aleksandr Osadchuk, Head of the Main Directorate for Innovative Development of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Speaking about the attendance of the Forum, General Osadchuk noted that yesterday more than 198,000 people visited its facilities, and in total, for five days of work, the attendance amounted to more than 615,500 people, which is 9% more than last year — (561,603 people).
'The Army 2023 IMTF was attended by delegations of defence departments of 83 foreign countries, as well as representatives of six international organizations, such as the League of Arab States (LAS), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the United Nations (UN)'.
During the Forum, five bilateral meetings were organized and held between the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, 9 meetings between the Deputy Minister of Defence, Colonel General Alexander Fomin, and five meetings of the Deputy Minister of Defence, Colonel General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, were organized and held', General Osadchuk said.
He told reporters about yesterday's visit of the Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Uganda Vincent Ssempijja to the static exposition of aviation equipment at the Kubinka airfield. During the sightseeing tour, advanced examples of aviation equipment were presented. The head of the Ugandan military department was particularly interested in the models of the Yak-130 combat trainer aircraft and the Su-57 fifth-generation fighter.
'In total, more than 30 models of aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, including Su-57, Su-35s, Su-30cm, Su-34, Su-25bm, MiG-35, Yak-130, are presented at the static exposition of aviation equipment,
L-410, DA-42t, Il-38n, Be-200, helicopters Ka-52m, Mi-28nm, Mi-26t2v, Ansat-U, Ka-27m, Ka-27ps, Ka-29 of the Russian Navy's naval aviation and retro aviation aircraft of the Air Force Aeroclub, UAVs of various purposes of the Aerospace Forces', General Osadchuk informed journalists.
'Today, on the sixth day of the Forum, and the second day focused on mass visitors, 24 events are planned within the scientific and business program, — General Osadchuk announced and named the main ones, — these are the plenary session of the Club 'Dronbiathlon' on the topic 'Unmanned aviation — dual-purpose technologies in war and peace' and the round table of the Congress on Artificial Intelligence 'Computer games as a factor of national defence and security'.
As before, participants and guests of the Forum will be able to visit the Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Multimedia Historical and Memorial Complex 'Memory Road', the open-air museum 'Victory Field', as well as the national treasure — a collection of armored vehicles in the Technical Center of the Patriot Park.
