Briefing on ARMY 2023 IMTF for foreign military attaches takes place in Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre
As part of the briefing, Colonel Oleg Kulakovsky, Head of the Department for Congress and Exhibition Activities of the Main Directorate for Innovative Development of the Russian Ministry of Defence, spoke about the timing and planned events of the ARMY 2023 and answered the questions. The briefing was attended by 83 military diplomats accredited to the Russian Federation from 53 countries.
In his speech, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Defence emphasised the high value of the established business relations with foreign partners and thanked all the guests for their assistance in organising the participation of specialists and delegations of foreign defence agencies in ARMY Forum.
Cultural excursions were organised for representatives of the military diplomatic corps at the Military and Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The day before, a display of weapons and military equipment from the permanent exhibition was organised for the military attachés of friendly states at the Kalashnikov Concern.
In addition, representatives of the military diplomatic corps of foreign states were given a presentation of military products made by Russian defence industry enterprises (JSC Kalashnikov Concern, JSC Research Institute of Steel and LLC Triada - TKO).
Military diplomats took part in a friendly shooting competition for the prize of the Chief of the Main Directorate for International Military Cooperation, with the best results shown by the representative of the Military Attaché Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Nicaragua in the Russian Federation.
The event was well received by foreign partners and served as a further step towards strengthening friendly relations between the militaries of the states supporting Russia's foreign policy course.

ARMIYA 2023 International Military-Technical Forum will be held from 14 to 20 August, at the same time as the 11th Moscow International Security Conference.
The forum events will be held at the Patriot Exhibition and Convention Centre, Kubinka airfield and Alabino training ground, as well as in all military districts and the Northern Fleet.
The forum organiser is represented by the Main Directorate for Innovative Development of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
