Specialists of the Airborne forces at the "Army-2020" forum held a number of round tables on the development of samples of the military equipment in the interests of the airborne troops

Within the framework of the international military-technical forum "Army-2020", participants of the scientific and business program discussed the creation of new models of military vehicles for existing units of the Airborne troops, as well as for units of the "new type".

The purpose of the round table is to develop a common understanding of the issues of improving existing and creating new models of military vehicles, as well as identifying priority areas for development, creating innovative models of military vehicles, based on the tasks facing the Airborne troops.

The round table was attended by managers, engineers and designers of leading Russian enterprises: PJSC "KAMAZ", JSC "KBP" named after A. G. Shipunov, LLC "EDB Tekhnika", LLC "Intral RUSS", 21 research institutes of the Russian Defence Ministry.

Thanks to the videoconferencing system and online broadcasts, the round table was attended by the teaching staff and cadets of the Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School named after General of the Army V. F. Margelov.

Round tables dedicated to the development of Airborne troops are held at the Alabino training ground and the "Patriot" park convention and exhibition center.

The international military-technical forum "Army-2020" will be held from 23 to 29 August.
