International Forum "Army-2020" hosts a round table dedicated to the issues of ensuring the national security of Russia

Today, on August 27, the Military Institute (National Defenсe Control) of the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation within the framework of the scientific and business program of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2020" held a round table on the topic: "Military-political aspects of state defence control".

The round table was attended by representatives of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Joint Staff of the CSTO, the Secretariat of the Council of Defence Ministers of the CIS member states, military command and control bodies, universities and research organizations of the Russian Ministry of Defence, federal executive bodies, research organizations and higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The round table participants discussed a wide range of topical issues related to ensuring Russia's national security in the modern world order, as well as the prospects for strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the EAEU, ASEAN, CIS, CSTO, SCO countries in the field of international security.

During the round table, reports and speeches were made on the use of technologies of "color revolutions" and "soft power" in interstate confrontation, the role of information security in solving problems of state defenсe.

The objectives of the round table have been achieved, which in the future will make it possible to conduct scientific research in the field of ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation.
