Russian Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin holds talks with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau
Within the framework of the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum, negotiations were held between the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin, with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Sanji Fati.
During the meeting, issues of current status and prospects for the development of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation were discussed.
Special attention was paid to the issues of rendering assistance by Russian military specialists in building the national armed forces of Guinea-Bissau.
The sides confirmed their mutual intention to continue the diverse interaction of the parties in the field of military cooperation.
Colonel-General Alexander Fomin noted the importance of the Russian-Bisay partnership to ensure stability and regional security in Africa.
