ARMY-2020: Discussing Simulation Equipment Development

The Ministry of Defence announced that the round table will discuss the creation and use of training equipment for staff personnel of the Russian Armed Forces.
This event is part of the scientific and business program on the sidelines of the ARMY-2020 International Military Technical Forum at the Patriot Exhibition and Convention Centre.
This round table discussion is organised by the "Military Training and Scientific Centre of the Navy" Naval Academy named after Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union N.G. Kuznetsov."
The agenda of the event involves:
A discussion of conceptual approaches to the creation of educational and training tools for training military personnel;
Creating a multifunctional software and hardware complex for modelling the environment in the interests of combat training and military education;
Setting goals for the development of innovative products, including special software.
Participants will include experts from the High Command of the Navy, educational institutions and research organisations of the Russian Ministry of Defence, engineers and designers of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Russia.
Part of the discussion will review the experience of using simulators, as well as to assessing the effectiveness of their use in the process of training at military educational organisations and during the combat training of formations and units.
It is expected that, based on the results of the discussion, proposals will be made towards the justification and development of a system of training simulators, as well as on the publication of the periodical magazine "Military Simulators" in order to involve research and design organisations, developers and manufacturers of training tools.
