BRIEFING FOR FOREIGN MILITARY ATTACHES ON PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT THE "ARMY-2020" FORUM WAS HELD AT THE PATRIOT EXPOCENTRE

The ICE representatives talked to foreign military attaches in the course of preparations for the “ARMY-2020” Forum.
On March 12, 2020, the briefing session was held for foreign military attaches accredited in Russia at the Patriot ExpoCentre.
Among the attaches, there were representatives of the military departments of the states traditionally participating in the Forum, as well as those who had not previously participated in the Army Forum. In particular, this briefing was attended by a number of military attaches of the states from the North Atlantic Alliance.
Major General A.M. GONCHAROV, the Head of the Chief Directorate of Scientific Studies and Engineering Support of Advanced Technologies (Innovative Research) of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, made a speech at this briefing. He emphasized that an expanded programme of the Aviation Cluster is being prepared within the frameworks of the upcoming exhibition, and due to this fact the Russian Ministry of Defence wants to invite foreign delegations of aviation experts to participate in the Forum.
During the briefing session, a representative of the Chief Directorate of International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation proposed to the representatives of foreign military departments to continue joint works with the Russian Ministry of Defence and ICE on formation of national exhibition expositions within the frameworks of the “ARMY-2020” Forum.
The representatives of ICE headed by A.V. EDRENKIN, Director General, talked with foreign military attaches during the briefing meeting in order to attract more foreign countries to participate in the upcoming “ARMY-2020” International Military-Technical Forum to be held in August.
