Southeast Asia in the cross-hairs of the Forum “ARMY-2020”
6th International Military-Technical Forum “ARMY-2020” will be held on August 25–30, 2020 in Congress and Exhibition Center “Patriot”. Preparations to the Forum started as early as in the course of work of Forum “ARMY 2019”. One of the preparation stages includes promotion tour across the countries of Southeast Asia on October 1–20 this year.
International Congresses and Exhibitions Ltd. delegation will visit the 1st International Defence & Security Expo Vietnam (DSE Vietnam 2019) in Hanoi. In the course of the exhibition the negotiations with Defence Economic Technical Industry Corporation (GAET) and Viettel Group telecommunication company (participant of “ARMY-2018”). Meetings with representatives of Ministry of National Defence and Ministry of Public Security will be held. The program of the meetings includes presentation of materials of the Moscow exhibition with discussion of organizing Vietnam national exhibition hall on the Forum “ARMY”.
After the Hanoi exhibition ICE Ltd. delegation will visit Malaysia and Indonesia to perform individual presentations of Forum “ARMY” for the relevant agencies, major defence enterprises and organizations of the two countries. The presentations will include discussions of participation of Malaysian and Indonesian companies in the work of the Forum, and there also negotiations to be held with defence agencies of these countries to organize exhibition halls on the territory of Patriot Expo.
It must be noted that this promo tour is the first stage of a new large-scale strategy for promotion of the Forum “ARMY” among the potential partners of the Forum.
The largest exhibition of aerospace and defence industry in the region — SEOUL ADEX 2019 will be held in Seoul on October 15–20, 2019. This is the 12th time the Korean exhibition is held. More than 400 exhibitors from 35 countries will take part in the exhibition with more than 280 thousand visitors and 77 VIP guests from 51 countries.
Within the framework of the exhibition negotiations with major Korean defence enterprises will be held, including HANWHA DEFENSE and POONGSAN. Forum “ARMY” will be presented to the Korean small and middle businesses as well as other foreign participants of the exhibition. Meetings with representatives of Korea Defence Industry Association (KDIA) and Korean Aerospace Industries Association (KAIA) are planned regarding organization of the Korean national exhibition hall on the International Forum “ARMY”.
