Today, the briefing for military attaches devoted to the International military-technical forum “ARMY-2016” took place in the Congress-exhibition complex of the “Patriot” park.
About 100 military diplomats from more than 50 countries of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions took part in the event.
Chief of the Main Directorate of science and research activity of the Russian Defence Ministry Alexander Mironov informed representatives of the foreign military diplomatic corps about the event.
According to him, exposition programme will include 40 thematic sections. Moreover, national expositions of Belarus and Kazakhstan as well as specialized exhibitions are to be organized.
Therefore, the Russian party intends to organize an “Arctic” exposition to demonstrate innovative developments, samples and technologies for possible use in the Arctic zone.
Alexander Mironov stressed that the Forum Administration was to establish necessary conditions for demonstrating not only Russia-made products but also foreign ones.
In the course of the “Innovative club” expositions, experts and visitors of the Forum will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with samples and technologies of military and dual purpose.
The “Intellectual industrial technologies – 2016” exposition will be also organized to demonstrate high-performance equipment and technologies.
Alexander Mironov also noted that the demonstration programme introduces modern weapon, armament, military and special hardware samples, which the Russian Defence Ministry is equipped with, and military and dual purpose production of manufacturing enterprises.
In the course of the Forum, up to 900 enterprises and organizations are to demonstrate more than 7,000 samples of military and dual purpose.
It is considered that up to 500 thousand people are to visit the Forum.
The military and technical forum “ARMY–2016” is taking place in the Congress-exhibition complex of the “Patriot” park on September 6-11, 2016.
